Christmas 2009 - "Christmas Card"

SEE OUR CHRISTMAS VIDEO SLIDESHOW BELOW!

Welcome to the Webb Family Year in Review!

We had an action packed year, full of firsts and fun!
Let me share some of the highlights we have done.

MAX finished strong in baseball, and loved when they would win…
He started guitar lessons with Uncle Adam, and loves the quality time with him!
He gave the theatre a try for the very first time…
He stole the show with his solo, and his dancing was sublime!

LUKE is blowing us away with his intelligence, it’s true!
Not many 6 year olds know the difference between “threw” and “through”!
He joined the chorus and tried water skiing…he popped up like a spring!
He lost his first tooth in September, and is always ready to try new things.

SAM has earned a new name; we like to call him BUSTER…
Don’t you dare leave him out, or he will cause quite the bluster!
He turned 3 in October, and wants to go to school and play soccer…
But will someone please potty train him? If you can, it will be a shocker!

RICH continues to be the boys’ best buddy, as he should…
Look out PGA tour…he’s working on the boys’ swings, which are looking good!
He surprised me this year with the best birthday gift I could have asked for…
A marriage vow renewal…I was so surprised my jaw was on the floor!

ANNE competed in her first mini triathlon…it was a HOOT!
I think I was the most nervous about running around in my bathing suit 
I graciously sprained my foot in May, but it didn’t slow me down!
I’m substitute teaching, thanks to Granna, who watches Sam (my little clown!).

We had a fabulous trip to Minnesota this summer with our family dear…
A fun fall break to Mexico, and enjoyed the ocean (so clear!).
We most of all are thankful for what we have each day…
Which is family, health, happiness, and love; and it comes from God in every way!

Luke took on Kindergarten, and really thinks it’s swell.
He’s reading, making friends and playing soccer…
And thinks he’ll take on baseball, as well.

He’ll melt your heart in an instant…
He’s got excitement for everything…..he’s pure JOY!

Your company will never be the same!

Anne’s still singing, writing poems, serving, and being mom. But wait! She’s added something new!
She’s BLOGGING our family every week…
Our own virtual scrapbook to view!

Something cool that’s happening; probably while you’re reading this letter…

Another year has come and flown by…
It’s the Webb’s here with our holiday “hi”!

We are happy, and doing well…
The boys are growing too fast, but are doing swell!

Max is 7, and is TOO MUCH FUN…
He’s witty, high energy, creative, and our sweet oldest son!
He loves baseball, and his team won the season!
He also tried flag football, which to him was quite “pleasin’”!

Luke is 4, and is our sensitive boy…
He’d rather sit and talk to you than play with any toy!
Preschool’s great, and he’s learning a ton…
3:00 is his favorite time, because Max gets home…time for FUN!

Sam turned 1 in October, and we think he wins the prize…
Of “best baby in the world”…at least in mom & dad’s eyes!
He just started walking; he’s so friendly and sweet…
He LOVES his brothers, and thinks playing with them is pretty neat!

Anne is involved at church, still singing, and loves being mom every day…
She sure loves her 4 boys; they fill her with joy in every way!
Rich is involved at church, playing basketball, and golfing when he can…
He’s such a great daddy, and an awesome man!
(Hey…it’s my poem, and I feel like bragging)

A major highlight of our year…
Is that Granna and Grandpa now live here!
Yes, it’s true they made the change…
From snow to sun; they’ve had to rearrange!

We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!

Love,
Rich, Anne, Max, Luke, and Sam

Christmas 2004

“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth”
John 1:14

Another year has sure flown by
The Webb’s are here again with a Christmas “hi”!

Luke is 16 months and such a sweet boy -
Watching him and Max play together is such a joy!
He loves being outside, going “bye bye”, reading books, and tries to keep up with Max -
He hasn’t showed an interest in walking yet, he’s quite content with sucking his thumb, crawling and choosing to relax 

Max will turn 5 in February – Kindergarten is next year, at last!
He’s very into superheroes, rocket ships, and anything that’s FAST!
Big accomplishments this year include...going across the monkey bars ALL BY HIMSELF, and pumping his legs to swing really high-
He ran in a 1 mile race with cousin, Annika – with a finishing time of 12 minutes – we were so proud of him to give it a try 

He’s in his 4th year at Larson-Juhl as well
He and Anne are running the Rock n Roll ½ marathon next month, with fellow MN family and friends no doubt!

Christmas 2002

Season’s Greetings from the Webb’s

As we said last year….This past year has brought many wonderful changes! We are rejoicing in the recent birth of David Virgil and Kyle Bryce Bragelman. Anne’s sister, Lynn gave birth to these miracle twin boys on November 23. After a very difficult pregnancy, including 50 days in the hospital, she delivered them at 30 weeks and they are doing so well! They are beating all the odds against them and should be coming home from the hospital within the next month to join big brother Daniel (4) and big sister Julia (2).

Rich’s sister, Lynnette is expecting her second baby girl in the beginning of January, and will join big sister Annika (4). And Anne’s sister in law, Jenni is also expecting her second baby girl in the beginning of January, and will join big sister Sarah (16 months). Our family is growing rapidly !!

Rich is enjoying his job at Larson-Juhl and has been there a little over a year. He has given our house a total makeover with all new framing of our artwork and pictures. The job has given him so much more flexibility and Max really enjoys that part of the job (being able to spend lots of time with Daddy). Rich’s golf game is always improving and yet he wants to play more and more……..

Anne continues to enjoy staying at home with Max. She is now singing with the Phoenix Symphony Chorus. She just got done performing Handel’s Messiah and thoroughly enjoys the experience of singing with the Symphony. She is now a demonstrator for Gold Canyon Candles, and is enjoying the benefits of a fine smelling house ! Anne has also been enjoying time in the Women’s Ministry group at church.

Where do we begin with Max? It’s hard to believe how much he has grown over the past year. He surprises us every day with his quick wit and hilarious personality. He enjoys riding his bike around the block, playing with his cousins, telling stories and jokes, and still loves playing golf with Daddy in the back yard. Max’s fish, Jeff is his pride and joy. We often find Max confiding in him . Max is a huge “Wiggles” fan (a singing and dancing group from Australia), and is very proud of his own dance moves and singing ability. Max has such a sensitive, sweet demeanor about him and he amazes us every day. We are so blessed to have such an awesome son.

We are very grateful this season as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We wish you and your family a very blessed holiday.

Love,

Rich, Anne and Max

Christmas 2001

Season’s Greetings from the Webb’s

This past year has brought many changes. In January, Anne’s sister Lynn welcomed to the world a new baby girl named Julia. In May of this year, Rich’s sister Lynnette, and her family moved to Chandler. In June, Anne took a job with her choir. In August, Anne’s sister-in-law Jenni welcomed to the world a new baby girl named Sarah. Also in August, Rich took a new job.

In August of this year, Rich resigned from Onsite and took a position with a custom picture frame manufacturer named Larson-Juhl. His sales territory includes the southern half of Phoenix and Tucson. The change in jobs turned out to be a great decision. Rich still plays in a basketball league each Wednesday night and plays golf 2-3 times per month. Recently, Rich and Anne completed the Tucson Half Marathon!!!

Anne is enjoying her job as a stay at home Mommy. She and Max enjoy “play dates” with friends and having fun together. Anne is also one of the leaders in the “Moms & Munchkins” group at Mountain View Lutheran Church. Being a leader keeps her busy setting up play dates, lunches, newsletters, etc. If that is not enough, she is also the Executive Assistant for the choir that she performs in, The Arizona Arts Chorale. This is Anne’s 3rd year as part of the choir – in addition to rehearsing each Tuesday night and performing in 8 concerts this season, she is busy heading up all the ticket sales, bulk mailings and other administrative duties for the choir.

Where do we start with Max? He has grown up so much this past year. As you can tell the by the card, he loves to play golf on our backyard putting green (and he is getting pretty good, look out PGA Tour!!!). Max loves Barney, Clifford the Big Red Dog, and to play with all of his fun toys. He helps Mommy around the house, and loves to help Daddy mow the lawn. He also spends a lot of time with his cousins Daniel, Julia and Annika!

We wish you and your family and very happy holiday season!

God Bless!

Rich, Anne and Max
